Mahurangi Wastebusters has proudly been running zero waste events, repair cafes, waste minimisation education and training events in north Rodney since 2017.

With the help of the community and volunteers, we now have an up-cycled learning hub at Lawrie Road and we've appointed Warkworth local, Rosie Hutchinson as our education officer with help from Tineke Robson.

Teaching kids how to reduce and recycle waste will be our initial focus, and as soon as our health and safety requirements have been finalised we'll confirm the learning programme and start taking bookings from early education centres and schools.
